WHAT IS SVR CV50 NATURAL RUBBER?

DEFINITION

SVR CV50 (or TSR CV50) natural rubber is a premium product line of natural rubber with stable viscosity from 45 to 55.

SVR CV50 is derived from high-quality field latex, undergoing a production process to ensure a stabilized viscosity within a narrow range. This results in a rubber that is characteristically softer than conventional grades, providing distinct advantages in various industrial applications. With a controlled Mooney viscosity of 50 ± 5, SVR CV50 ensures uniform processing, excellent elasticity, and reliable mechanical strength.

SVR CV50 is preferred by manufacturers due to:

  • Stable viscosity
  • Flexibility, adhesion has confirmed this rubber thrive on the domestic market as well as the world.
  • High purity & consistency: better end-product quality.

Rubber varieties and planting years have a great impact on product quality, especially on viscosity index. In the natural rubber producing countries, during the manufacturing process, manufacturers are always equipped with the main measuring and testing equipments such as plasticity meters, viscometer.

Inside a bale of SVR CV50 natural rubber, the control of the production process with measuring equipment for timely calibration is important to give producers the means to achieve their production goals by testing.

APPLICATIONS

This premium rubber grade is widely used in tire manufacturing, adhesives, conveyor belts, and molded goods, where stable performance is critical. At APT Rubber, we supply SVR CV50 with strict quality control and full EUDR compliance, ensuring your business meets both technical and sustainability standards.

Because SVR CV50 (constant viscosity) rubber is characterized by constant viscosity and plasticity, it is preferred by manufacturers. mix of substances in the mixture well, high adhesion will create a good product and uniform.

This type of rubber is widely used in automotive and machinery components, industrial rolls and conveyor belts covers, wiper blades, masking takes, extruded products and chemical resistant linings…

PRODUCTION PROCESS OF APT RUBBER

Depending on the specific requirements of each customer, finished products SVR CV50 will be blended to meet customer requirements.

Step 1: Latex Collection

  • SVR CV50 is made from field latex tapped from Hevea brasiliensis.
  • The latex is preserved with ammonia to prevent premature coagulation.

Step 2: Coagulation

  • The latex is coagulated using formic acid or acetic acid.
  • Produces clean coagulum with uniform quality.
  • Step 3: Mastication & Size Reduction
  • The coagulum is passed through crepers and shredders, reducing it into thin sheets or crumbs.
  • Continuous washing removes impurities like dirt, bark, and proteins.

Step 4: Drying

  • Rubber sheets/crumbs are dried in hot-air dryers at controlled temperatures.
  • Ensures low moisture content (≤ 0.8%) and stable chemical composition.

Step 5: Constant Viscosity Adjustment

  • A key step unique to SVR CV grades.
  • Controlled doses of hydroxylamine or stabilizers are added to regulate the polymer chain.
  • This guarantees Mooney viscosity remains at 50 ± 5, even during processing at customer factories.

Step 6: Quality Control & Testing

  • Testing ensures compliance with Vietnamese Standard TCVN 3769 and customer requirements.

Step 7: Baling & Packaging

  • Dried rubber is pressed into 33.33 kg or 35 kg bales.
  • Wrapped in PE film and stacked on 1.2 MT wooden/steel pallets.
  • Bales are stamped with grade, batch, and production date for traceability.

Step 8: Storage & Shipment

  • Stored in clean, ventilated warehouses to maintain stability.
  • Exported globally under FOB, CIF, or DAP terms, with EUDR-compliant certification and full COA (Certificate of Analysis).
